Guntersville FIshing Charter Neely Henry bass fishing report
Wow!!! I am thrilled to see my home lake is producing as good as it has in decades. 10th place in the local weekend tournament was 18 pounds. I had a guide trip today on Neely and it was just spectacular. We landed 40 and our best 5 fish was 19 pounds. We caught them every stop out on the river and in the creeks. A brown and orange jig as well as a dt6 crankbait were our best baits. We caught a mix of spots and largemouth with many being prespawn so the fishing should keep getting better. We have a full moon. Stable water temps in the 60s and the bass are feeding aggressively. This might have been my best week of fishing all year. I have guided 4 days this week and my catch rate has been 40 per day with 10 fish a day over 4lbs and b...

The trees are turning orange and yellow. The eagles are getting active and deer are roaming. As we head into November the water temps have cooled into the 60s and the bass are feeding. This week I did 3 guide trips and our average catch rate was 25...

October is one of my favorite months to bass fish at Guntersville. However you have to adjust to conditions to continue to be productive. I see many anglers using springtime techniques that are not productive in the fall. I like to fish fast and mo...
