We started the day with a tuna fishing seminar then made a quick stop at the rocks where we landed some nice yellowtail that we’ll enjoy later. The weather is beautiful and everyone enjoyed tonight’s dinner—coq au vin. TEAM RP

We started the day with a wahoo fishing seminar then the crew spent the rest of the day helping passengers get rigged up. Everyone is enjoying the nice weather and great food. TEAM RP

We departed this morning on our annual JB Line One 18 passenger/18 day trip. After picking up a nice load of bait we spent the rest of the day traveling south in beautiful weather. TEAM RP

Today was a great day working up the coastline with incredible weather. Everyone was also able to tag several Yellowtail today. We had very good fishing this evening on yo-yo jigs surface irons stick baits and live bait. We will be traveling our way up the coast tomorrow. TEAM RP

Today we did a lot of driving around looking for Tuna in our travels but saw zero sign. We got lucky and ended off our day with a very nice go around on quality Yellowtail for everyone to tag. TEAM RP

Had a fun day with very nice weather and a good mix of different fish species. TEAM RP

A couple nice grade fish from today. We had very nice weather fishing on anchor today. We saw plenty of fish splashing around but getting a bite was very tough. TEAM RP

The fishing for us has been slow the past couple days but we are still managing to slowly scratch away at some decent YFT. We will be traveling tomorrow and looking on the way of course. TEAM RP

Yesterday was a very slow day of fishing for us. We managed one wahoo and saw zero sign of Tuna. We have been traveling all day today and got lucky with a couple shots at some nice Yellowfin Tuna. We will be in a new area trying for Tuna tomorrow. TEAM RP

Fishing was definitely slower today. We never found the same sign of wahoo as yesterday. We still had a few nice shots at some quality Yellowtail and Yellowfin Tuna. We will be traveling tomorrow. TEAM RP

We had a great day of wahoo fishing today! Everybody was able to tag a couple or more making a great start to the trip. TEAM RP

We had some very fun fishing last night on some good grade Yellowtail and a 240 pound Yellowfin Tuna caught by Lisa! We are looking around the same area today. TEAM RP

Happy New Year! We departed yesterday evening on our annual Taka’s Tackle 16 day trip. We have a great group of passengers and everyone is excited to be out on the first trip of 2026. TEAM RP

Today was a great way to end a December five day! Good ling cod and Yellowtail action for everyone! We are now heading home and will be in tomorrow morning. TEAM RP

Things started off very slow this morning. We did not see any tuna sign until after lunch. We got into an area and had steady action on Bluefin Tuna for everyone until sunset. We will be traveling up tonight and fishing the coast tomorrow. TEAM RP

Managed a few very nice Bluefin Tuna after dinner. We will be in a different area tomorrow trying for Tuna. TEAM RP

We spent today looking for Tuna and never saw any good sign of Bluefin or Yellowfin. Luckily there were plenty of nice dorado to go around for everyone. TEAM RP

Fun day picking away at Yellowtail working our way down the coastline. We will be farther down looking for Tuna tomorrow. TEAM RP
