This afternoon Capt Greg and Shane had Sam Angelo out for stripers. Bait was easiest it has been all year to net and we went to work steadily picking away at stripers on live bunker. Lots of blues showed up but bounced around and caught the stripers steadily to end the day. Headed home early to get the Angelos home for dinner early. Thanks guys!

Capt Greg and Shane had Dave Hockenberry out on the 31 this morning for stripers. Started out on the bigger fish and switched it up finding some keepers in the shallow water for the guys to take home.

Had Vinny Montella out today for the StriperQuest tournament by @grayfishtag and despite the weather all participants decided to give it a shot. Glad we did as we enjoyed a steady pick of fish!

Had Neil McCoy with Rod Hernandez and both of their sons out this afternoon. Like a broken record bait was tough but when we got it fishing was very good. Did one drift the whole afternoon and the stripers were hungry. Fished until we were out of bait and called it an early afternoon before the rain came.

Had Adam Conley out in the morning for stripers. Bait took a very long time but fishing was a good pick up to 40 inches with a couple keepers mixed in. High hook had 5 by herself- not bad for her first time striper fishing!

Had Andy Talone out solo this afternoon. Covered a ton of ground looking for a good bite and ended up picking a few late in the afternoon on live bunker.

Had Glen Kaufman Lew Gold and friends out for stripers. Bait was tough once again but we found some nice healthy stripers for the guys with fish up to 38 inches along with one bluefish. Always a pleasure!

We went out on the water yesterday for Mother’s Day. There were fewer guests than normal spending time with their mothers all around New York but we still had a decent number of guests out on the water and let’s just say they were REWARDED. Not sure if the fish knew it was mother’s day […]

In the afternoon Capt Greg had out Bert and friends out for stripers. Took forever but got some bait and made a couple of long drifts. Had a steady pick on bait in the sloppy conditions but still not what it should be. Thanks to both groups for sticking it out on a tough day overall.

Capt Greg had Bruce and friends out for stripers on the 39. Didn't know what to expect after this weather system but thought we could at least put a catch together. Ran all over and it did not come together for us

Had Brendan and friends out today- made our bait relatively quick. Fishing was lackluster at best we had some bites and landed a couple but left a lot to be desired. Hopefully this blow will shake things up

Capt Greg had Jeremy and the boys out today. What a great bite today- we did a 2.5 mile long drift and caught them the entire way on live bunker until we ran out of baits. Great mix of sizes from 40 inches to 29 inches- excellent afternoon chew!

Had Adam Conley along with his son and friends out for stripers. Started throwing shads for a drift and caught one but didn't read them so went looking for bunker. Got bait relatively easily from what it has been and caught steadily until we were nearly out of bunker.

Wow what an afternoon today! Left the dock at 12pm with Mark Freeman and we caught 22 fish and returned to dock at 2:30pm all on live bunker. The guys were relatively new to live lining but did great with the circle hooks after a small learning curve. Great two trips today and looking forward to the bunker getting tighter together soon!

Had Jim Preuninger out for stripers today. Michael caught his first striper and we saw some steady action catching fish up to 39 inches. Got a handful of keepers for the table as well. Back out on the afternoon trip now

Capts Greg and Kenny had Todd Kisner this afternoon on the 39. A bit windy but steadily caught on the live bunkers and had a slight learning curve but came together as the trip went on. Loads of overs but enough keepers for the guys to bring home as well.  Thanks guys!

Capt Greg and Kenny had Dan Kelly and crew out today. We were thankful in our first two throws of the net we half filled the wells and struggled to get more. Steadily picked away at fish throughout the trip and got our limit releasing many more. Back out this afternoon

Had Frank Moran and friends out today. Took a bit but got our bait and bounced around a bunch today. Picked fish everywhere we went and put together a good catch even with a flurry of 4 on at one point.

This whole week has been filled with some excellent fishing during the morning trips and that continued on this morning’s trip. We went out from 7am to 3pm (which we are doing daily for those that would like to join us) and caught a LOT of blackfish and ling. We spotted plenty of short blackfish […]

Had some tough trips over the weekend Rich and Jimmy worked their butts off but fish wouldn't cooperate. Started off with the Jim Hope crew but wound up with 2 slots and overs up to 35 inches. Next up Mark Freemen and the boys with similar results. Very frustrating but they should turn on soon

In the afternoon had Dan Kelly with a bunch of first timers as well. Another stellar livelining session only making three drifts all afternoon holding fish the entire time and blowing thru 80 baits in a couple hours.

On the 31 had out Glenn Kaufman and the Citi crew- netted 100+ bunker in short order and made our way. Had our 8 man limit and released 5 overs in under 15 minutes of fishing. The guys put on a clinic today and we fished until we ran out of bunker. Didn't get many pics as the fishing was hot and heavy. Excellent day of striper fishing again!

Had first timer Mark Kuminski out for stripers today. Tough getting bait but once we started fishing it was lights out instant bites for an hour straight and then steady picking and left them biting! Hard to beat for their first time livelining bunker for striped bass.

On the 39 had Larry DeLuise back with Joe and new to striper fishing Jason and Mark. None of the guys had ever livelined but with my Pure Luv coaching style they got good quickly. Larry led the way with half a dozen to 37 inches rest of the guys popping their cherries! Great morning of fishing!
