Had a great week leaving the confines of NJ. First couple of days went over to the Bahamas with Tommy Madden and the boys got into wahoo and snappers had the Bahamian local food which was amazing with lots of laughs. Got a call from Ilya one of my regulars wanting some tuna for New Years. Made it out to the grounds not much happening. Made a move and found the mother lode first cast Shane hooked up with a nice 70 inch fish wound up losing at boatside. Great trip today with my best regulars! The plan was offshore seabass and got easy boat limits of fish to 6lbs and cod to 20lbs. Capt Greg and Shane had the Roszkowskis with Joe in from Florida. Definitely a change of weather from sunny Miami but the fish were hungry. Never got hot and heavy but had a handful of doubles for the father son duo and ended with about 25 fish. Had one of the funnest days of the year. Shot an episode with host Nick Honachefsky of Salt water Underground and guest angler Bass master Champion Mike Iaconelli. Started out in bunker pods lots of dogfish and few bites. Made a run and found the fish all to ourselves for the remainder of the day. All the fish on light tackle on the surface easily...

Capt Greg and Shane had a double today. Left in the dark this morning and were first on the fish breaking under birds with 3-4 on right off the bat. Fish were under the birds swirling for miles. Day 2 in Paradise. Started off with a bang getting 2 nice wahoo. Got on the reef for a drift and got muttons strawberry groupers cudas until the sharks showed up and they were hungry. In the afternoon we put away the fishing gear and got out the snorkel gear and look for lobster and that worked out well and we had ourselves set up for a great dinn...
