Water temps in the areas I’m fishing ranged from 43-45 degrees yesterday. Water clarity is good on the main lake and gets a little more […] The post Lake Fork Report – February 13 2018 appeared firs...

Getting fish out on brush piles and condos in deeper water with some girls still with eggs. The size of the fish are improving. 14 to 24 ft deep and hitting jigs. Slab Bandits in sour grape is my go to bait and has been for the past 4 years. The lake is about a foot and a half high but looks good.

It's been a bit of a tough time for me the past few years from drought to floods not to mention a pretty bad health scare for me but it's time to get back full time guiding. Summer is the most consistent fishing of the year with 50 to 100+ fish a trip being pretty common. Fish are starting to show back up on brush piles condo's and...

We got our first fish over 9 pounds for 2016 today. This one was caught by Jim and she weighed 9 lbs 4 oz. Water temps are in the mid-50s all over the lake so we should start to see more big fish caught very soon!!!    The post Lake Fork – February 10 2016 appeared first on Lake Fork Guide Jason Hoffman.

This time of year can be a blast. When you find the fish bunched up and feeding on big balls of shad there’s no better technique for catching bass than an umbrella rig. The post Lake Fork Umbrella Rig – Catching Two at a Time!!! appeared first on Lake Fork Guide Jason Hoffman.
