Happy November everyone I hope all you had a great Halloween. The first half of November so far has been pretty solid although it hasn’t been absolutely insane like it usually is this month. With that being said, I guess I’m just spoiled because we’ve been catching bonefish on almost every trip plus we’ve been finding juvenile Tarpon that have been eager to eat lures and flies (we just seem to lose most of them recently) and there have been some snook around as well. In the Everglades fishing has been fair, but there have been plenty of sheep’s head to fill in some of the dead time plus some snook around with few sharks for a change.

This past cold front finally brought us schools of pilchards which we love to use to live chum mutton snappers, yellow jacks and snook.  The weather has been perfect and I can’t wait for the rest of the month.  Stay tuned for more reports!
