A new 5 fish lake record over 30lbs was weighed in during the ABT. Second was 23 and third was 21. Neely Henry is fishing extremely well as evidenced by these weights. 3 multi million dollar boat ramps have been installed and a strategic stocking program has revived this historic fishery. In the 70s and 80s Neely Henry was famous for big bass but it entered a downturn in the 21st century. However it's back and better than ever!!! The primary patterns are water willow,riprap and deep ledges. The best baits are a small brown jig, squarebill crankbaits and topwater.
