May was an incredible month aboard the Hooked Up Sport Fishing off the coast of South Florida! Charter fishing has been outstanding, with an abundance of blackfin tuna, sailfish, and a great start to the grouper season. While we didn’t snap too many grouper photos, we did land a gorgeous yellowedge grouper! The weather was fantastic, though the sargassum weed gave us a few mixed days—but we adapted and kept the bites coming. As we roll into June, we’re gearing up for a big surge of mahi-mahi! With an abundance of sargassum weed this year, it’s looking like prime time...
