We spent the day hiking on Islas San Benito. Our weather was beautiful and we saw a variety of plant life elephant seals harbor seals fur seals lizards sparrows herman’s gulls western gulls common ravens and ospreys.

We departed yesterday evening on our annual Cabrillo Aquarium 8 day ecology trip. After a quick check in at Ensenada we headed out to Isla Todos Santos where we saw a variety of plants birds and mammals. We had fun last day of fishing! We got to fish until just after lunch. We had steady action for wahoo and some tuna. We are now on our way in for Cabo to drop off those flying home. We will be there the day after tomorrow.

We had relatively steady action on the wahoo throughout most of the day. On top of that we had several nice fun grade tuna. To break up the day we also had some fun grouper fishing. Tomorrow will be our last day of fishing before heading into Cabo.

We have spent the past couple days fishing very hard. We have managed several decant tuna and a few wahoo. The fishing is in the slow side but we hope for that to change here very soon. To have a nice end of the day Steve and Joseph had another amazing BBQ.

Today we were able to get the skiffs in the water and enjoy more variety fishing. While the skiffs were in the water the big boat was trying for tuna. We got one at 160 and a few other small ones. Due to the slow tuna fishing we will be traveling the next couple days…

Today we managed several wahoo. The tuna fishing was on the slow side but we picked off a few nice fish in the evening. Just after lunch we also had a good shot at some reef variety. That was a nice break in the day.

Had a nice break in the ride for several nice wahoo this morning. It was great getting everyone out fishing today but we still have plenty more water to cover. We plan on traveling through the next couple days.

Another beautiful day of travel. We went over a wahoo tackle seminar and spent the day getting all rigged up. To end off the day Steve and Joseph put together one of many great BBQs! We look forward to a night of good rest and may be fishing tomorrow depending on what we see.

Yesterday we departed on our 22-day freelance trip. We are currently rolling south. Conditions have made for a smooth ride and everyone is very excited for the fishing/ exploring to come.
