Storm conditions will keep most off the water for a day or two but the opening of Snook season Friday morning will certainly bring out plenty of anglers. Activity in the inlets has been very good with lots of Snook being caught on jigs Yo-Zuri Fingerling plugs and soft plastics. Offshore provided very good Kingfish… The post 8-30-23 appeared first...

Fishing has heated back up but uncertainty lies ahead with Idalia tracking towards Florida's gulf coast. Looking beyond the storm fall is right around the corner and we've got the mullet run and some amazing beach fishing on the horizon -- so our friends at American Air & Heat thought what better time to hook up a lucky reader with a new fishing....

Fishing opportunities will be pretty limited this week across the board unfortunately. We've got thermoclime shutting down the bite offshore; in the lagoon fish and sealife are struggling with poor water quality in exceedingly hot temps; and similarly in freshwater bass are showing little interest in eating at these temperatures... With the heat index topping 100 every day lately it’s wise to go early and finish early avoiding the mid-day heat. Good fishing for Snook and Tarpon can be had during the first hour or so of light in the Indian River both on bait and artificials. Redfish have also increased in numbers of late… The post 8-9-23 appeared first on White’s Tackle.

Offshore has been a bit rough but for those anglers getting out the Kingfish bite in 70′ to 80′ of water has been very good and the Dolphin have been active in the 80′ to 100′ range as well. Surf fishing has been pretty tough with the rougher conditions but the inlets have had Tarpon… The post 8-23-23 appeared first on White’s Tackle.

High winds and rough seas have limited fishing opportunities these past several weeks but our fortunes look to shift favorably with the weather this week.
