There has been some Tarpon activity nearshore but few in reach from the beach. The inlets have produced some… The post 8-2-23 appeared first on White’s Tackle...

Inshore Fishing Report  We’ve been battling some hot summer afternoons as of late but luckily the inshore bite has been pretty hot as well! Scattered Sailfish and some Kingfish have been the best bets offshore in the 70′ to 80′ range. Surf anglers have been catching a few Snook early mostly on soft plastics and some Whiting and Croakers thru the day on shrimp and Fish Gum. Fort Pierce Inlet has had Tarpon activity in the evening on outgoing … The post 7-26-23 appeared first on White’s...

Red Snapper season has come and gone but the fishing offshore and nearshore is still GOING OFF! Nice conditions over the holiday weekend led to some good fishing inside and out. Offshore the Kingfish bite has remained steady and the Mangrove Snapper bite has been really good as well both in the 70′ to 80′ range. Nearshore Tarpon continue to provide thrills as do False Albacore and occasionally some larger Jack Crevalle.… The post 7-5-23 appe...

It's going to be a wet week ahead but that's expected as summer patterns have officially set in. Meanwhile the sargassum seaweed situation has improved in the surf and inlets in addition to the water quality. Conditions shouldn't be too much a factor in determining what kind of fishing you want to do this week -- opportunities abound! The post Wee...

The inshore water conditions should generally be an improvement from the week prior but the sargassum churning in the surf still looks pretty dicy for those eager to fish the beach. We sought advice on the subject from our "go-to" local surf fishing guide and contributor Capt. Lukas Brickweg but the jerk was too busy loading his cooler with giant...

Snapper fishing offshore continues to be the best bet with very good catches in the 60′ to 75′ range. Scattered Dolphin have also been active in the 90′ to 120′ range. The beaches have still been weedy but the pending west winds will likely clear some of that out giving surf anglers a chance to… The post 6-7-2023 appeared first on White’s Tackle.

Sargassum seaweed remains thick along Central Florida's coast presenting a pretty compelling deterrent for anglers interested in fishing the surf off the beach and inlets. Hopefully conditions clear up as the week progresses but let's be honest it doesn't require environmental studies or extensive data analysis to reasonably conclude that the sarg...

Kite […] The post June 2023 Fishing Report – Stuart FL appeared...

Dolphin fishing has been the best bet of late with good catches happening in the 150′ range. The seaweed has formed some bigger patches in areas and the Dolphin have taken advantage of the cover. Current rips have also been productive. The surf has unfortunately been unfishable due to the seaweed and somewhat rougher conditions … The post 5-31-23...

High winds and rough seas have limited fishing opportunities these past several weeks but our fortunes look to shift favorably with the weather this week. There should be some nice windows to run offshore and off the beach and there's reason to be optimistic that we'll experience relief to the sargassum situation in the surf... The post Weekly For...
