With the heat index topping 100 every day lately it’s wise to go early and finish early avoiding the mid-day heat. Good fishing for Snook and Tarpon can be had during the first hour or so of light in the Indian River both on bait and artificials. Offshore has been a bit rough but for those anglers getting out the Kingfish bite in 70′ to 80′ of water has been very good and the Dolphin have been active in the 80′ to 100′ range as well.
