The bite continues to be good with larger Walleye mainly at night in deeper rocks and close to shallow reefs. Bigger Perch are starting to show up in the catch for some. Yesterday temperatures didn’t drop below freezing until late afternoon. Standing water spots had crust ice on them but still had plenty of water. Over the next 24 hours a lot of that will change. I spent all day yesterday on the ice pulling the ice drag behind the Honda ATV establishing what will end up being our roads through the roughest ice to Pope’s Reef Gull Reef Spider-Island and the NE side of North Twin Island.
