Key West fishing report has anglers choosing their pleasure here in Key West April fishing. Be it deep sea fishing for blackfin tunas, sail fish or Mahi or reef fishing for yellowtail and mutton snappers or on the flats for bonefish and tarpon Key West has been loaded pretty good with some great fishing opportunities. Blackfin tunas have been consistent deep sea fishing off Key West. Without a doubt April is a great month for fishing Key West. In the top three for sure. As the winds of March lay off and the weather patterns turn to summer like, Key West turns tropical and the fish start pouring in. Deep sea fishing has been “Ok” with the Gulf Stream super close bringing a ripping current in just past the reef there are a few weed lines on that edge. In the blue water however scattered weed makes it tough to do some effective trolling. There are some mahi in the scattered weed but it’s pick and pull.
