I believe that the fishing is going to be super...just like it has been all year so far.  Most of the better fish are being caught down south in the Land Cut and Baffin Bay.  The water in the Land Cut and Baffin Bay is beautiful.  We are catching good numbers of trout 17 to 29 inches long.  In Baffin I am mainly fishing the front of the bay.  Looks like the winds may start to slow down a little, I hope anyway.   The lighter winds make it easier to fish the drop off in the Land Cut.  I have been using my favorite go to plastic, a strawberry Kelly Wigglers shrimp tail with a ¼ ounce jig head. Top water lures are doing well when we get the right day.  The weather has been very nice, a little cloud cover with some sun shine.perfect.  The water temperature is about 81 degrees and the bite is good all day long.  Get yourself out on the water and have some fun.. hope to see you out there.
