Come fish with Capt. Jason Shilling in the waters of Lafitte, LA, former home of pirate Jean Lafitte and still home to many South Louisiana traditions.

Located just 30 minutes south of New Orleans, Lafitte waters hold a variety of fish to be caught from the hard fighting red fish to the paper mouth speckled trout, along with many others such as flounder, drum and sheepshead. Lined with oak and cypress trees, the marsh and bayous are the home to beautiful wildlife such as nutria, raccoons, otters, bald eagles, alligators, herons and egrets just to name a few.

Capt. Jason will take you to the hot spots of this area to catch your share of fish in his 22ft custom bay boat powered by the 200hp Mercury Optimax. This boat is equipped with all that is needed to easily accommodate four people and the captain. For larger groups, advanced notice is requested.

Capt. Jason, a USCG licensed captain, is a local of Lafitte and will show you the true meaning of New Orleans style fishing with southern hospitality, good times, and lots of action.

Once the water warms up a lil and the wind stabilizes the silver wonders should be eager to bite . I look forward to filling up the coolers with our share of those tasty fish! 2017 was a great year for us!! With lots of happy customers going home with memories of their New Orleans experience on the ba
