In 1925, White's tackle opened its doors in downtown Fort Pierce, Florida in the PP Cobb Building. During that time, Fort Pierce was known for its growing commercial fishery and interests were soon sparked by recreational anglers that learned of the spectacular fishing in the area. After World War II, White's Tackle moved up the street to 51 North Second Street. Since that move, White's Tackle has grown with the ever changing fishing world. From its small local beginnings, it is now located in a 5000 square foot building.

The sailfish bite has been ok with a few scattered to the north in 80 to 100ft on both live and dead bait. The bottom fishing has been steady with a… The post 10-12-20 appeared first on White’s Tackle.

Good morning everyone. With the wind shifting to the north things are a bit cooler in the mornings and species along the beach are shifting. More Bluefish and Spanish Mackerel are showing up along with a few more Pompano showing up here and there. Spoons and jigs are accounting for most of the Bluefish and… The post 10-14-20 appeared first on Whit...

Good Afternoon We’re looking at a wet weekend on the Treasure Coast but if you don’t mind the rain there are some fish to be caught. Snook fishing at night has been on fire will all the mullet that have pushed in. Live mullet fished in the shadow line on the bridges in Stuart will… The post 10-02-20 appeared first on White’s Tackle.
