I downloaded the "garmin" fishing spot file onto an SD card like stated, but when trying to import into my Garmin 720 there is no file found. I tried every version available but still nothing. Do i have to save the files to my Garmin G2 SD card? Please give detailed instructions on how to import them.... thanks

Send an email to support at fishingstatus.Com with the location (s) you downloaded and I will supply a file from Garmin Homeport in a different file format and see how it saves it to the SD card.

I unzipped the downloaded folder, cleaned a spare SD card and copied both the .gbd and .gpx files onto it. I then turned off my GPS took out my navigation card, inserted the card with the files, turned on, went to user data, merge data..... and no files show up to merge. Tried again this past weekend with same results.

My GPS is putting a Garmin folder onto the SD card, do i save the .gbd file in the garmin folder or leave it out the folder?

Thanks for any help, my boat is 2 hours away from my house so i cant just go outside and see if this works.

Did you unzip the file and load the GPX or GDB file on your SD Card?
