The lake has so many different moods. Love this picture taken by guest Dylan Walter of a rainbow over the channel to Turtle Lake. An evening squall had kicked up and this was the aftermath.
This week starts out hot! Daytime temperatures are in the 90’s, but cooled back into the 70’s and low 80’s by mid-week. Nice fish catches this week are:
John Murphy Sr. (Oconomowoc, WI), a 23 inch walleye
Don Meyer (Ixonia, WI), a 39 inch muskie
Mark Kirk (Jonesboro, IL) and John Murphy Sr. (Oconomowoc, WI), over 60 fish in one day - a combination of northern pike, smallmouth bass and walleyes
Jeff Shreck (Kewanee, IL), a 43 inch muskie and 34 and 31 inch northerns
Bob Olivia (Geneva, IL), 45 and 42 inch muskies
Andrew Harrell (Marietta, GA), a 30 inch northern
Larry, Brett and Adam Readout, with guide Kerry, over 60 northern pike and bass in one day
Tim Weaver (Indianapolis, IN), 32 and 30 inch northerns
Blake Hesli (Linwood, MN), a 21 inch walleye
