About Fishing report September 15 - 21
A pretty sunset shot of guests returning from evening fishing. At this time of year there is very little evening fishing with sunset coming about 7:30. But the recreation hall is very fun with guests playing cards, watching television and socializing.
The week starts out with terrific fall weather - a mix of sun and cloud, temperatures back into the 70's and light winds. Walleyes are being caught in large quantity, as well as crappies; Ron DeBree and Antonio Barbaro caught 65-70 in one day with guide Bill Luney. Some of this weeks' other nice catches are:
Jared Robinson (Cincinnati, OH), a 27 inch walleye
Ken Gregie (Bloomingdale, IL), a 22 inch walleye
Luke Robinson (Cincinnati, OH), an 18 inch walleye
Ken Lewis (Carol Stream, IL), an 18 inch walleye
Bob McKinney (Aurora, IL), a 19 inch walleye
Ryan Tye (Byron, MN), 25 and 24 ½ inch walleyes
Aaron Hultquist (Belle Plaine, IA), a 20 ½ inch walleye
Keith Tye (Council Bluffs, IA), a 24 inch walleye
Scott Conley (Minneapolis, MN), a 24 inch walleye
Duck Bay guide Bill Luney, a 27 ½ inch walleye, two 23 inch walleyes and a 20 inch
Ron DeBree (Crystal River, FL), 20 ½ and 19 inch walleyes
Corey Wold (Farmington, MN), a 39 ½ inch northern
Steve Licata (Mequon, WI), a 21 ½ inch walleye
James Licata (Lexington Park, MD), his second muskie ever - 40 inches
Antonio Barbaro (Papendrecht, Netherlands), a 20 inch walleye
John Licata (Mequon, WI), a 16 ½ inch smallmouth bass and 31 inch muskie
