Fish are coming on trolling but mostly jigs are a far better and more consistent option. Paddle tails and fluke style baits with heavy jigs being dominant. Jigging fast with a pause.  Look for shallow rocks with bait; a little wind always helps. Catching 10 to 35 fish has been common.   Good Fishing!

Fishing has been excellent most full day guided trips going over 30-fish days.  Walleye are moving all over the system now look for alewife near rock humps with clear water to slightly stained.  Jigging with paddletails are producing varied results and casting crankbaits producing some days.  Casting is far more productive than trolling. Hint: don...

Fishing was what I expected--fast and furious. 30+ walleye days being the norm.  This should last for a couple of weeks until the fish start to move a little farther out into the Bay.  Trolling is the key to get on these bigger groups of fish.  Trolling crankbaits seems to be the best with spinners sometimes being a little better.  Speeds of 1.2 t...

Fishing has been improving as the days get longer.  Look for windy days for the walleyes to set up on the windy side of the first break lines and inside elbows where wind will funnel walleyes and baitfish into areas.  This is when jigging and casting crankbaits can out produce trolling just crankbaits.  Best speeds have been 1.4 to 1.8. Good fishi...

Fishing has been good to moderate with crankbaits being the number one lure with some jigging thrown in but trolling crankbaits in 4 to 8 feet or off the first break of the shoreline being the key.  Expect a lot of males with an occasional female.  Look for fish within 2 miles of the outlet of rivers and warm water. Good fishing!

Walleye fishing was good on the East Side until Tuesday cold water moved into the lower Bay and fish responded by moving deeper onto breaks and only taking slow moving presentation.

Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE Walleye fishing remains good on the East Shore with some larger mud fish going on the West Side. Long bodies cranks still taking fish with spinners and cranks taking some in the mud.

Fishing the East Shore with crankbaits seems to be most productive. Long bodied deep diving crankbaits being the most productive. Keep an eye on electronics; fish are moving around a lot and adjust accordingly.

The curve ball was thrown as it usually is around the beginning of May. Mother Nature threw SNOW at us over the weekend yet the Walleye fishing has still been very good. Good numbers of fish can be caught casting jigging or trolling either crankbaits or crawler harnesses. The Geano Reef area has been very good along with Suamico while trolling craw...

Mother Natures warming trend looks to have kicked the fishing in high gear. Anglers all over the Green Bay area Fox Valley and the Door Peninsula are reporting moderate to good action with numerous species being targeted. Over the weekend we visited several spots in search of walleyes using several different methods. Trolling crank baits on Green B...
