About What Makes Lake Texoma the Striper Fishing Capital of the World

Lake Texoma Striper reproduce naturally and make this fishery World Class!  Striper were stocked in Texoma in the 1960s, started spawning in the Washita and Red Rivers in the 1970s, and now the lake has big fish and big numbers of striped bass!  The Red River and Washita rivers have salt deposits and Striper love!  The two huge rivers have plenty of rocky structure and current to intice striper to spawn each spring!  Follow World Class Striper Fishing for more information.
