August Fishing Report Crystal River

Still keeping busy with scalloping trips but it's beginning to wind down. The fishing is continuing to get better and better however. Redfish have been in good numbers lately. Been slinging shrimp and soft plastics for them maily. Starting to get some nice sized snook on the outer islands. Inshore trout bite has really picked up in the past week or so. Primarily throwing artificials around bait pods. Once our water temps get into the 70's the bite should be ON! Shouldn't be long folks!
