It's cold the bass are lethargic it's time to slow down. WRONG!!! The bass are preparing for the spawn by eating as much as possible to try to survive a stressful spring. Be aggressive,fish fast and look for feeding fish. December was by far my best month of the year and I fish fast and aggressively. I am constantly looking for a group of big ones that bite. As we get closer to the spawn the fish will feed more often and for longer periods of time. If grandpa told you to fish slow in the winter he was wrong.
