The answer is Yes. A year ago tournaments at Guntersville were being dominated by Livescope this time of year. The conditions are perfect for Livescope but in the Toyota series the vast majority of fish being weighed in are caught power fishing. Bass are highly evolved creatures and their instincts prioritize preservation of self and preservation of species. The lateral line of a bass is one of the most sensitive systems on the planet. I fish Guntersville 200 days a year and I use lowrance active target continuosly. Last year you see a bass throw a jerkbait and he would bite it. Not anymore. Now in saying that most fisheries don't see 1% of the pressure Guntersville has and the fish in many lakes may not ever adapt in this manner. Livescope is a very powerful tool but not more powerful than the survival instincts of a bass. If you want to fish with me at Guntersville call 256-744-5185.
