Whiskey Bayou Charters Post-Cold Front Fishing
Yesterday we had Dave, Steve, Tim, and Brad out of Indianapolis, IN aboard the Majek chasing redfish on a post-cold front day in Feb! They are in town for a 3-day trip and flying out on Monday, so they only kept enough for a couple of meals. It was slow, real slow, but they stayed with it and we managed 15 reds and a handful of rats after fishing until almost 3 PM. They finished up the day at Crave having Chad Flaco Roig and his crew cook their catch. Dave reported back that it was stellar (as usual)! A great crew that stuck it out in adverse conditions to make it work. They were a pleasure to fish with! - Captain Joe Ezell, Whiskey Bayou Charters
Whiskey Bayou Charters Fishing in North Winds
Helped Captain Christopher Pike of Cast & Blast Charters LLC with the casting portion of a cast and blast trip Monday afternoon. We fished hard in brutal north winds, putting together a decent box of fish. Wells Marks landed a 34.5-inch bruiser to cap off the day. They called it a day with 8 in the box. Great crew that was a pleasure to fish with! Thanks to Captain Chris for the trip. - Captain Joe Ezell, Whiskey Bayou Charters
Whiskey Bayou Charters Fishing in the Delacroix Marsh
We had a two-boat crew out just recently, no picture clause in affect to protect the innocent. Big thanks to Captain Sal Fontana of Gotcha Hooked Guide Service for running the second boat for me. Both crews caught their limits and threw back a few before heading to the dock. - Captain Joe Ezell, Whiskey Bayou Charters
Whiskey Bayou Charters A Bull Among Rats
Helped Captain Christopher Pike of Cast and Blast Charters with the casting portion of a cast and blast trip yesterday afternoon. We fished all over the marsh picking up one here and there. Johnny landed a big 37” bull among the 50 or so rats. We ended the day with 9 in the box. Great crew that was a pleasure to fish with. Thanks to Captain Chris for the trip! - Captain Joe Ezell, Whiskey Bayou Charters
Whiskey Bayou Charters Friday Redfishing
Helped Captain Christopher Pike of Cast & Blast Charters LLC with the casting portion of a cast and blast Friday afternoon. We made a short run to our first spot and put together a limit in cool temps and rain. Great crew that were a pleasure to fish with. Thanks to Captain Chris for the trip.
