Snake River As mentioned in previous reports cooler days over the past three months or so have been more productive than warmer days and we have had a lot of the latter.  We may have finally crossed the threshold over the past two weeks where warm days are now starting to fish better.  The best action is occurring in ledge rock pools eddies and al...

Fishermen coming in this morning reported pretty decent fishing. The gravel bar activity was ok but showed some signs of slowing down. Perch and Walleye activity is improving on the shallow reefs and basin areas.  They are not “jumping out of the holes” by any means but they are well worth the effort for sure.  […] The post February 11th 2026 firs...

Still snowing lightly this morning and it is supposed to snow off and on all day. The overnight portion was a little less than predicted a nice refresh on our snow cover. The big news though is the temperature. Not over freezing but 27 which is close and well over the highs for the last few weeks. It almost feels like summer!

Two weeks ago people were saying we were crazy out fishing in single digit weather.  But trout fishing was excellent!  And the main reason it was so good was they were running water — heavy flows.  Of course it didn’t hurt that shad were coming through the turbines!  All that to say is… bring on […] The post February 10 2026 Fishing Report appeare...

Updating the Twerking Minnow with an brush head and new materials that is just as good at the old material.
