Water Barge Cove

Water Barge Cove will hold striped bass and largemouth bass. Spring finds largemouth bass utilizing this cove for spawning. Work the shallow beds with small spinnerbaits in white or black/white. Yellow, white or chartreuse grubs are also productive when cast beyond your targeted area and worked through it. Striped bass will be found in 25 to 40 feet most of the year. Frozen anchovies are preferred, but Senkos and Sassy Shads are also productive. During winter, stripers will be deeper, 40 to 60 feet, and should be fished with frozen anchovies or jigging spoons bounced off the bottom.
