The area around East Point should be looked at for year-round striped bass. From April through early November, striped bass can be found at depths from 30 to 45 feet. Use your depthfinder to locate fish and then work the appropriate depth with jigging spoons or frozen anchovies. Soft plastics such as Senkos or Sassy Shads also work well. Late November will find stripers moving deeper, 40 to 65 feet, where they will remain through winter. Frozen anchovies are best during this time.
