Burro Bay is good for largemouth bass most of the year and striped bass year-round. Work the bay with buzzbaits, spinnerbaits and topwater lures such as Hula Poppers, Skitter Pops and Zara Spooks for spring largemouth. Summer will necessitate a switch to Texas-rigged plastic worms or tubes to reach bass in water up to 25 feet. Striped bass should be approached by vertically jigging spoons or marabou jigs. Senkos and Sassy Shads will also attract striped bass.
