Hooking Up Anglers Since 2011.
Alright folks, reelclassfishing.com has a new lease on life and I will start, again, posting regular fishing reports here as a blog. Most of you that follow me on facebook know that I sold the Henriques about 2 years ago, and ever since, I have been boat shopping. Yes, for 2 years. I am having a very hard time finding something that I want that will be serving my needs. So, in the meantime, I am fishing privately, a lot from land and the surf, and still having great success with what I do.
For the month of April, with LIMITED access all over the state, we have been trout fishing in the Metedeconk, Manasquan, Shark, and Toms Rivers and doing well with rainbows to 15". White perch fishing in the rivers (Toms, Mullica, etc) has been very good and it also has been good in the lagoons from Toms River south on grassshrimp, killies, and bloodworms. Loads of Stripers are all over, but most of them in our local area (Barnegat Bay, Manasquan River, down to the Mullica) have been very small, all under 20". Today, we also heard of the first bluefish coming into town to our south!
I will update this weekly, and I will upload as many pics as I can. Keep an eye out, as I hope to keep this moving. I'd also like to share some tips and tactics with everyone as we go along here, so please continue to visit the website!
