Just because red snapper is out of harvest season doesn’t mean you can’t catch them. They are great fighters, great for pictures and when vented correctly they have a high percent  recovery rate. We have caught these guys anywhere from 3 miles from shore all the way to over 200′ of water. We’ve caught them on just about any lure or bait. We’ve even caught them on a fly rod.
