Sargassum seaweed remains thick along Central Florida's coast, presenting a pretty compelling deterrent for anglers interested in fishing the surf, off the beach, and inlets. Hopefully conditions clear up as the week progresses, but let's be honest, it doesn't require environmental studies or extensive data analysis to reasonably conclude that the sargassum menace has progressively grown in volume and intensity in recent years.
