The backcountry is alive right now with Tarpon, Snook, some Redfish. and assorted other species. In 5 hour trips we are hooking 30 to 50 Tarpon per trip and there are plenty of Snook mixed in. It a good trip for people who either can’t fish all day or have some where to be later on in the day. We dont waste allot of time running around.
Paul and his son Jonathan had a great trip on Father’s day. It took a while to find them but when we did nonstop Tarpon/Snook bite for a couple hours.
A couple days later I fished with Gavin and Brook. Today we found a giant school and every cast all day long was a bite. it was 2 at a time as fast as I could release them. The funny thing about catching this many fish is that the anglers get tired and that’s what I shoot for.
