Took today (August 4) as my day off from the Con Club Tournament (more on that in
the next post).

Started out with a very strong south wind, but we felt that it would blow itself out and
we were right.   Dropped in at 70 fow, worked out to 105, then did a north-south troll
in to 95 and out to 105.

Ended up boating 7 walleye, 4 small steelhead and a laker.  Also broke off on a mid
teen steelhead!   Rigger bite was good on WD green melon at 55 and a Contender
watermelon at 60.   Also 10 color with an ounce was good early.   No board action
at all.
                       

                      

I can also say that once the wind died, the weatherman was right on!   I like
it hot, and even I was too hot!!!
