Excellent shores to troll and lurecast for natives in the entrance of Delatite Inlet (between Burnt Creek Inlet and Howes Inlet). On windy days, its good to throw in a Mudline along here.
Along the inlet between the entrances of Howes Inlet and Walsh Cove has excellent trolling at 60% plus levels. Usually April - July and September - November.
Plenty of camping locations along the Lake Eildon National Park side of the Inlet.
Many locations for Baitfishing with Flyfishing mainly focused on down in the Walsh Cove area.
Closest boat ramp is in the Ford Inlet which can be accessed from Maroondah Highway - Howes Creek Road - O'Halloran Road, or off Maroondah Highway - Paps Lane - Ford Drive.
Murray Cod are present in the Delatite Arm. They are best taken by trolling deep diving lures along rocky shores at 15-20 feet of water. Best months are December through April. Best areas are North-East side of Ford Inlet to Walsh Cove.
