Congratulations to Sean Kelly and Bruce Johnson They won the free Penn rod and reel setup for bringing me the biggest cobia by June 1st. There Cobia weighed 70lb. Nice work guys.Cobias are still around along the beach and up toward the Cape. People are still catching them bottom fishing and still doing well sight fishing for them. The Spanish and bluefish fishing is as good as is gets right now. You can catch all you want of both trolling along the beach with clark spoons or casting stingsilvers or gotcha plugs in to them.As most of you know the Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament is coming up. It is our busiest 2 weeks of the year. The billfishing offshore has been fantastic the past few days so it should make for a great tournament. If you need anything for the tournament be sure to stop by the shop. We are stocked up on any leader you will need as well as sleeves, cable, heat shrink, hooks, swivels, lures, replacement skirts, ect. If its your first time fishing a billfish tournament or even if you have fished plenty and have any questions at all, please feel free to come by and ask.Since the tournament is coming up and we will be slammed in the shop it is a good possibility I will not be able to get to the computer to write a fishing report or post the wind and sea.
