Fish Smarter

Before I started Fishing Status, I would have to visit many different websites to get the latest fishing reports, spots, weather, etc. for my area, just to get an idea of what I might catch and when to go. The main reason I started Fishing Status was for my own database of the latest fishing information to have at my fingertips. Over the last couple of months, I have been working hard to provide you with a single interface to view your local fishing forecast and all of the latest info within 50 miles of your target area.

Based on actual fishing reports from captains and users in your area, the Fishing Status algorithm computes the percentage chance you have of catching specific species of fish. With the ability to add additional information about the conditions of the area, we have used a scientific formula to recommended colors and lures that target your local species of fish.
