Took some folks out from South Dakota for a full day charter. Trolling has been slow so we didn't even try. It was the right decision. Bottom fishing has been good, the water is still a tad chily but the fish were biting almost anything we put to the bottom. I'd target the 80 to 100 foot depths using hunk bait, squid and speed jigs.
