Hooking Up Anglers Since 2011.
Hey Fishermen,
I had yesterday off but it did not mater as I was back in the game today. I had 6 fishermen and we had quite a few opportunities. My crew did hook 5 fish and as many missed bites. 5 were solid slot fish hookups. They did manage to land 3 of the fish and 2 were slot fish. We lost a beautiful 55 to 60 lb slot fish at the boat. The fish did a back flip 3 feet from the boat and rolled on the client’s mono line and tour it to shreds. I looked up pass the fleet and Garnet Pt and is looked grim. So I came back down to buoy 2 and the bridge and metered a lot of fish we also fished near Ozol the best bite was during the last 2 hours of the ebb tide. The best depth was 35 to 55 feet of water. The best bait was eel and that is all I used. Captain Zach will service the clients the next 2 days and I will be back on the boat on Tuesday I will keep Flash II at Martinez until Late April due to the good sturgeon fishing. The next 9 days are all full but I have room after those days. Enjoy the photos.
