Wahoo, Dolphin, and Barracuda Offshore Hatteras

Fished out of Hatteras yesterday. We headed toward triple zeros and found our first high speed bite around 25 fathoms around the 040.  We found a small grass line and started working it, only to catch a couple of Barracuda and a few Dolphin. We picked up our 2nd Wahoo in 41 fathom around the 050 line just after crossing a grass line. 

 

Without a bite for a while, we cruised to Proteus and caught 7 Almaco Jacks with one around 30 inches. We also hooked up to a nice shark before getting broke off. There were some huge Barracuda hanging over the wreck and we caught a big stinky one that was around 40 pounds. 

 

After all the jigging, we put out the high speed gear again and picked up another Wahoo on the way in. Here is a video:
