Wahoo and Gaffers Offshore of Atlantic Beach

Fished with a new friend out of Atlantic Beach yesterday. We started the day close to NE Big Rock and started picking off Gaffers and Wahoo, with most bites on a naked ballyhoo (dink baits). The bite stayed stead till about 10:30 AM, then died for a couple of hours before picking up again. After the lull, we picked off more Mahi and a Skipjack tuna, before calling it off a little early to head back home. 

I had never ridden on an Intrepid boat and really liked the layout and ride of the boat. The express style windows kept us dry in what most would consider sporty conditions. The twin 300 Verados were very quiet and pushed her nicely throughout the trip.
