FWC Announces Amberjack Open in Florida Gulf State Waters

There’s good news for Florida offshore anglers. The recreational harvest of greater amberjack will reopen in Gulf of Mexico, Florida state waters Aug. 1. Although that is a limited range and only out to nine nautical miles, it does increase the bounty for those looking to fish offshore on Florida’s Gulf Coast.
