100 Pound Spinner Shark

Fished with Joe and Matt on Wednesday for sharks in the ocean. We had a great day and we caught and released about nine sharks. We had brown, spinner, and dusky sharks. The fish of the days was a 100 pound plus spinner shark. We also hooked and fought a much larger dusky shark for almost an hour and a half before the line parted. Sharking has been excellent. Pro Tip: Constant pressure is key to landing big fish. Any breaks you take extend the fight much longer. Read More
