Massive snow in the high country which evaporates when hit by the sunny mornings produces regular afternoon weather. Look for brief thunderstorms or showers almost everyday. Shop our store here at the lake. Stop in and find out how we can help you catch. Get a topo map. They say information is power. It's also critical to catching fish. The maps have GPS coordinates on them so you just can't miss. We want you to be successful here at the Mile. Get a map we will mark it up with the hot spots.

TROUT: EXCELLENT: Water temp is just right. Boaters can’t keep up with the bite. If your trolling the right bait you are catching fish big time. If you are trolling the wrong bait you might still catch a fish. All the standard Eleven Mile baits are on fire. From Rapala right on down the line. Tas Devils hot! Kastmaster hot! Shore action is not as active but still good. Night fishing is happening all night long but especially at 2:00AM. Fly guys and gals are having a blast.

KOKANEE SALMON:FAIR: Action is sporadic but fish have been being caught regularly. Pink is a favorite color. Needlefish, Tas Devils, Mack’s in a variety of patterns ie Wedding Ring and Hoochies. Depth vary from 10 to 35 feet in 50 and 60 feet of water. If you don’t see them on the locator just long line it instead of down rigger or lead core because when they are at 10 feet you won’t be seeing them on your electronics but they are around. Straight out from the Marina in deep water down to Ducl Island. Back side of Duck has been good. A few around Deer Island also but don’t go to far East. Bite times are variable with late morning and late afternoon a good bet.

NORTHERN PIKE:FAIR TO GOOD: Water temperature is just right.Action has improved significantly. Big fish on the prowl and biting. Spinner Baits in white or Chartreuse. Rapala, Husky Jerks and other sticks. Work the shallows from Cross Creek to Stoll or Howbert to Witchers. Early morning can surprise. Late morning to mid afternoon is best.

SPECIAL NOTE: 11 Mile Marina is located at the North Shore in Eleven Mile State Park, Lake George Colorado. A CPW Park Pass is required on all vehicles entering the Park.  Any fees for Guide/Outfitter/Rental services do not include Park fees, CO fishing license or gratuities.

The WEEKLY FISHING Report is produced by fishermen for fishermen. We try to get it done every Thursday but some times fishing or life gets in the way. So if its not there on Thursday morning it will show up by Friday. We appreciate all the support and acknowledge that many of you won't miss a week. Many Thanks. Oh and by the way there may not always be a  fish  pic.

Reservations and payments taken over the phone and purchases on line via credit card are secure.
