CONDITIONS:: Park is open 24/7/365. All Park facilities are open. Witchers Cove Boat Ramp only open Friday through Sunday. Spring is still springing. Massive snow in the high country which evaporates when hit by the sunny mornings produces regular afternoon weather. Look for brief thunderstorms or showers almost everyday. The days start off super nice leading to brief weather events in the afternoon followed by super nice. Spring runoff has hardly begun. Spinney is probably about 80% full. Dream Stream flow still a dream except for the crowd. Annual hatch is late and still in play. Fish are packed to the gills with bugs. Fat and happy but still biting.

WATER FLOW:   IN 88.7  CFS    OUT: 93.4 CFS WATER TEMP: 52

MARINA STORE AND LAKE SPECIALISTS: Camping, Fishing, Flies, Lures, Bait, Clothing, Food, Snacks, Drinks, Ice Cream and more.  Stop in and check out our offerings and get the latest fishing information.  We have a great store with great selection of what works.  Support the fishing report... Shop our store here at the lake. Stop in and find out how we can help you catch. Get a topo map. They say information is power. It's also critical to catching fish. The maps have GPS coordinates on them so you just can't miss. We want you to be successful here at the Mile. Get a map we will mark it up with the hot spots.

TROUT: GOOD: Shore action has been a little slow probably due to the massive amount of bugs available to eat. Boat action has been pretty good overall. Trolling spoons, Rapala’s, Cowbells and crawler all have caught fish. Deep trolling produces bigger fish. Down rigger a must if you want to skate the bottom in 40 to 60 feet of water. Pink has been a productive color as it usually is this time of year. Tas Devils are hot in many different patterns but the hottest is the pink and white Needlefish on a down rigger or lead core. We have lead core trolling rig combos spooled with 100 yards 36lb lead line and leader. Eagle Claw or Shimano starting at $129.95. Money back guarantee. You do what we tell you with the lure we suggest in the place we tell you to go and if you don’t catch a fish and you don’t do damage to the rig we will refund your money. That simple!

KOKANEE SALMON:FAIR: Improving daily. No limits but plenty of opportunities. Bite times vary but 11:00AM to Noon has been good. Right before the nasty weather hits has also been a good time. If there is no lightning just wind and rain and you have a sufficient boat hang tight and catch some salmon. Mack’s Kokanee Killer, Wedding Rings, Pee Wee Wiggle Hoochie and Cha Cha Kokanee all have caught fish. Tas Devil #55 and pink and white Needlefish also are good. We have been tipping our hooks with a Gulp Maggot. Areas between Deer and Duck Island and out from North Shore are seeing most action. Fish are suspended and hanging between 20 and 35 feet.

NORTHERN PIKE:FAIR: For the most part it has been tough. Action has been decent from Howbert Point to Witchers Cove. Bill’s Spinner Baits in white or chartreuse as well as Rapala Husky Jerks or X-Raps have been productive. No really big fish yet most running 20 to 29 inches.

SPECIAL NOTE: 11 Mile Marina is located at the North Shore in Eleven Mile State Park, Lake George Colorado. A CPW Park Pass is required on all vehicles entering the Park.  Any fees for Guide/Outfitter/Rental services do not include Park fees, CO fishing license or gratuities.

The WEEKLY FISHING Report is produced by fishermen for fishermen. We try to get it done every Thursday but some times fishing or life gets in the way. So if its not there on Thursday morning it will show up by Friday. We appreciate all the support and acknowledge that many of you won't miss a week. Many Thanks. Oh and by the way there may not always be a  fish  pic.

Reservations and payments taken over the phone and purchases on line via credit card are secure.
