CONDITIONS:: Park is open 24/7/365. Just like the rest of the State the weather has been wet and cold. Aspen leaves are beginning to pop so that’s a sure sign of Spring even though it has felt like Winter. All Park facilities are open. Weather report looks to be very nice for the Holiday Weekend…we can only hope! Annual hatch is on. Sure to please the fish and the seagulls but not the crowd. They don’t bite it’s just annoying.

We want you to be successful here at the Mile. Get a map we will mark it up with the hot spots.
TROUT: GOOD TO FAIR: Lots of action from shore and boat on smaller fish. Bigger ones are being landed if you are patient. Shore anglers have been successful across the spectrum from bait to lures to flies. Rainbow Power Bait and Night crawler/ Mallow combo consistently producing. Fish in above pic caught from shore. Boaters on the troll have kicked butt on Kastmasters. Many different patterns have done well. Rapala, Tasmanian Devils and Krocodiles are second choice. West end more productive than East but more bigger fish hanging on the East end.
KOKANEE SALMON: POOR: Bite has not come on yet but then again it has been very hard to fish the last week as weather just wouldn’t cooperate. Most that have tried just haven’t had enough time on the water.
NORTHERN PIKE:FAIR: Action improving on moderate size fish. Pitching lures like Tasmanian Devils, Kastmaster and Rapala from shore have seen a decent bite. Boaters working the shallows with large Rapala’s in Perch and Rainbow have done well.
SPECIAL NOTE: 11 Mile Marina is located at the North Shore in Eleven Mile State Park, Lake George Colorado. A CPW Park Pass is required on all vehicles entering the Park. Any fees for Guide/Outfitter/Rental services do not include Park fees, CO fishing license or gratuities.
The WEEKLY FISHING Report is produced by fishermen for fishermen. We try to get it done every Thursday but some times fishing or life gets in the way.
