It’s been hard to get our equipment ready even harder to fish given the last week’s worth of weather. Again it looks to be improving just in time for the weekend. Hurray! All Park facilities open May 15 accept for Witchers Cove boat ramp which opens Memorial Weekend.

TROUT:FAIR: BOAT. Last weekend saw a good crowd but mostly disappointment in the catching side of things. There were a few really nice fish landed but most action was on smaller fish of the stocker variety. Needlefish, Kastmaster, Rapala and Tasmanian Devil were doing well. We just got our Tasmanian stock in with a few new patterns we can’t wait to try. Pic above was caught on a silver and blue spoon. That is a productive pattern here over the years. WE like the Kastmaster in silver blue and they make a rattle Kastmaster that has also been reported as productive. Those pitching tube jigs did OK from time to time on the standard 3 pounders. SHORE: Spawn sacks and Nightcralers have done well. The fly and lure crowd are also doing fair to good walking the shoreline. Howbert to Suckers Cove and North Shore to Corral Cove are worth a visit.
KOKANEE SALMON: NO REPORT
NORTHERN PIKE:POOR: A few small fish. Water is still a little to cold. We have seen just a few in the shallows. We need a few hood weather days.
SPECIAL NOTE: 11 Mile Marina is located at the North Shore in Eleven Mile State Park, Lake George Colorado. A CPW Park Pass is required on all vehicles entering the Park. Any fees for Guide/Outfitter/Rental services do not include Park fees, CO fishing license or gratuities.
The WEEKLY FISHING Report is produced by fishermen for fishermen. We try to get it done every Thursday but some times fishing or life gets in the way. So if its not there on Thursday morning it will show up by Friday. We appreciate all the support and acknowledge that many of you won't miss a week. Many Thanks. Oh and by the way there may not always be a fish pic.
