Puerto Vallarta fishing

Puerto Vallarta fishing report from June. This  is when some of the warmer water starts to roll around and we start to see more and more fish here inside the bay. With so much bait arriving moving in out of the bay how could we not have incredible fishing inshore and offshore. When coming to Puerto Vallarta the only question that you're going to need to decide is whether to fish offshore or inshore fishing.

Let's start with the inshore fishing which has just been off the charts catching a lot of the yellowtail. This is the time of the year is when we can see hundreds and hundreds of these fish schooling. We often use a lot of pitch baits on these days. These fish actually like to strike on the troll, jigging, pitch baits , live bait or lures. For the month of June is when a lot of these fish hit just about anything. We are also catching

California Bonita which are still holding strong along with the Spanish mackerel . These are two of the top good eating fish that we catch in the bay. This is also the time of the year where you'll be able to see the Snapper and other pelagic fish schooling here inside the bay. So if you're ready to come down for spring break and enjoy some good fishing here in March the bay Puerto Vallarta it's the place to be. period along with the Fantastic weather great fishing we have all the other activities that you can imagine.

The offshore fishing is starting to pick up as well with this warm water arriving. When the temperatures start reaching more than 80 degrees the fishing is hot.
heating up the temperature of the water. Seems like here and Puerto Vallarta when one species of pelagic fish slows down another one picks up. In this instance I'm referring to our striped Marlin which we still have in March but as the water warms up they are replaced by the blue and black marlin but you're much more active in much bigger. With all this bait showing up the selfish will be plentiful along with the great tasting mahi mahi. With the offshore temperatures hovering around 80 this brings into play numerous pelagic fish which love to feed at this temperature selfish, Marlin, mahi mahi and tuna are just a few of the pelagic fish that like these temperatures to feed. When you have the three factors baby movement good water clarity and the right temperatures it's pretty much a no-brainer you're going to be able to find these pelagic fish offshore. Hoping to see everyone out here either on our inshore or offshore action and beautiful Puerto Vallarta. City is known for having the friendliest people in the world that live and work here. Give us a call before coming down to check the latest conditions toll free or shoot me a quick email.
