HIGH COUNTRY CRAZY: Park County like the rest of the State is overrun with people seeking respite from the crazy world. National Forest has more campers then ever as Eleven Mile is sold out for weekends and getting tight during the week. It is unfortunate how some people treat the great outdoors. It is not the great outdoors garbage pit though you wouldn’t know by the looks of things. There are no facilities or refuse containers in National Forest. Please be mindful that you really should attempt to pack it in pack it out.
HOURS: MONDAY - FRIDAY 8:00AM TO 6:00PM SATURDAY - SUNDAY 7:00AM -7:00P ONLY 8 people allowed in the store at a time. We require you sanitize your hands upon entering. We do not require masks but may do so this weekend. If you don’t have one we will give you one for free. There are many many people here from out of state. Lets all respect and look out for each other. No one wants Covid.

CPW, the Marina and Covid-19: The Stay at Home Order is now a Safer At Home order. Accordingly boating at State Parks and marinas are open. Campgrounds are now open. Go to CPW link above for information. As a licensed CO Retail Food Establishment we follow all mandated guidelines and then some. Our store is big enough for effective social distancing and constantly being kept clean. All boats and PFD’s are sanitized after every use. We were recently inspected by the Colorado Department of Health.

CURRENT CONDITIONS: Witchers Cove boat ramp is closed. Park office is open closed on Wednesday and Thursday. Showers and laundry are closed. Expect huge crowds this weekend. Fathers Days saw one boat out one boat in with wait times reaching 45 minutes.

Saw a guy in Woodland Park on the corner with a sign will work for power bait.
RESERVATIONS: Our phone is ringing off the hook. We would hire a full time receptionist but no one wants to work here, there or apparently anywhere as every business is struggling to hire people when there are 10 million unemployed. We apologize that we cannot answer but we do return calls and get frustrated when on 8 out of 10 we get voice mail. LEAVE YOUR PHONE NUMBER FIRST. We don’t need the story just your number. TROUT:: VERY GOOD: Trolling action is great. Cuttbows running 13 to 20 inches on the menu. Not much of a problem catching your limit. Many baits working. Bite times vary with mid early sunrise and mid morning best. We still have a great selection of Tasmanian Devils and all the other successful spoons and baits. Stop in and check it out. Get the up to the minute report.
KOKANEE SALMON: POOR:Some limited success in deeper water off of Duck Island. 45 feet down in 60 feet of water. Macks wedding rings, pink tas and pink Needlefish.
NORTHERN PIKE:: FAIR TO GOOD: Action has slowed a little but there are anglers still doing well. Work Spinner Baits, Husky Jerks, big sticks, Kstmaster in FT and Daredevle jack of diamonds in yellow/red.
SPECIAL NOTE: 11 Mile Marina is located at the North Shore in Eleven Mile State Park, Lake George Colorado. A CPW Park Pass is required on all vehicles entering the Park. Any fees for Guide/Outfitter/Rental services do not include Park fees, CO fishing license or gratuities.
The WEEKLY FISHING REPORT is produced by fishermen for fishermen. We try to get it done every Thursday but some times fishing or life gets in the way. So if its not there on Thursday morning it will show up by Friday. We appreciate all the support and acknowledge that many of you won't miss a week but every now and then we might. Be Safe. Fish On!
