ELEVEN MILE AND SPINNEY NOW OPEN FOR BOATING.
CPW, the Marina and Covid-19: The Visitor Center and all campgrounds/playgrounds are closed through at least May 4. The Stay at Home Order is now a Safer At Home order. Accordingly boating at State Parks and marinas remain open. As a licensed CO Retail Food Establishment we follow all mandated guidelines and then some. Our store is big enough for effective social distancing.
RESERVATIONS BEING ACCEPTED: We are taking reservations for boating and guided trips this Summer. 100% money back guarantee on deposit with no cancellation fee if related to Covid-19 restrictions. We will follow all appropriate guidelines in sanitizing boats in between each rental.

CURRENT CONDITIONS: Eleven Mile and Spinney are now open to boating. Over 240 vehicles at Spinney yesterday.

WATER FLOW: 67.6 CFS IN (barely a trickle) 73.3 CFS OUT No run off yet and they have to always fill Spinney.

TROUT:: GOOD: Shore action continues its Spring fling with early AM and late afternoon the best. Night anglers doing well. Many baits work but finding the right one is why you have a tackle box. None of our regular go to baits were working yesterday. At the end of the day with one final change up it was the 1/8 oz Brown Trout Kastmaster that got hot with almost a hit on every cast. Spawn sacks and Power Bait have their moments depending on your presentation.
KOKANEE SALMON: NO REPORT
NORTHERN PIKE: POOR: Very little to report. Not that we haven’t tried. Little is the optimum description as smaller fish have been the order of the day. Look to improved conditions as the water warms and they go into spawn mode.
SPECIAL NOTE: 11 Mile Marina is located at the North Shore in Eleven Mile State Park, Lake George Colorado. A CPW Park Pass is required on all vehicles entering the Park. Any fees for Guide/Outfitter/Rental services do not include Park fees, CO fishing license or gratuities.
The WEEKLY FISHING REPORT is produced by fishermen for fishermen. We try to get it done every Thursday but some times fishing or life gets in the way.
